Searching the EphPod Listserver

If you're having troubles with EphPod, and the FAQ didn't help you, then there's one excellent resource you should try.  The EphPod Listserver Archives have been running since the first version of EphPod (back in early January 2002), and any question you could imagine is detailed there.  Even better, Google has spidered the entire archives.  So, if you just go to http://www.google.com, and, say you want to know about the firmware file -- just search for:

site:www.ephpod.com firmware

(you put site:www.ephpod.com to limit your results to the ephpod site, which is mainly listserver messages)

If you want to browse the archives yourself, you can just go to: http://www.ephpod.com/listserver-archives/

Joining the EphPod Listserver

Okay, so, for some reason the listserver archive wasn't able to help you.  So join the listserver by emailing ephpod-on@wso.williams.edu, and then, once you've gotten the confirmation subscription email (in a couple minutes), just send your question to ephpod@wso.williams.edu.  The listserver is quite active, and you should get a response within 12 hours.  If you want to get off the listserver, just ephpod-off@wso.williams.edu.

Contacting the Author

Yes, I do answer my own email address for support questions about EphPod.  Sometimes I'll answer back very quickly; other times it may take a week or two.  This is why the listserver might be better for instant gratification.  However, if you just can't see to find help anywhere else, please email me: joe@swig.com.
