Save Changes
Saving changes will write the changed iPod database to the iPod. For more information on exactly what the iPod database contains, read the section on How the iPod Works. Essentially, saving changes will write changes you have made to playlists and to song information in the Song View (like Artist, Album, Title, Genre, etc). When you add or delete a song, however, the database is automatically saved. So saving changes only saves the changes you have made to playlists and song information since the last time you (a) loaded the program, (b) added a song, or (c) deleted a song. Saving changes also clears out the "Recent" song list.
